The Thanksgiving holiday offers most of us a chance to reflect on the things we appreciate.  To say we have appreciation for the encouragement we have received since we have embarked upon the mission of bringing quality food to tables in our community is an understatement.  Food brings people together, and we are thrilled to be a part of that togetherness.  I could list a thousand things, ranging from big to small, I am grateful for today.  If you are reading this blog post, you are high on the list!  I had the most pleasant chat with a customer this week regarding gratitude.  She explained to me how she was grateful for even the most simple of things that take place in her life daily.  She went on to give the "for instance" of having her morning cup of coffee.  I agreed, a day without the ritual-like first sip of coffee would be pretty crummy.  The conversation left an impression on me, as did the lady's genuine thoughts on living in gratitu...

WE ARE OPEN!

For years, we have dreamed of bringing healthier food options to our small town.  While there have been challenges in the process and so much more we strive to bring to our community, this week it actually happened. Native Provisions is officially opened for business!  Thanks to each who stopped by to visit with us and shared words of encouragement during our launch week. We are excited to work toward creating a community based on health conscious living.

While our permanent location is still in the works, our new spot has a great sampling of what we plan to offer on a larger scale once we complete the renovations on our historic downtown building.  You will find a nice variety of specialty food items ranging from kitchen staples to unique gluten-free, vegan, paleo and keto-friendly options.  We are currently working with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture to offer meat and dairy products in the very near future.  Aside from food, we carry a great selection of sustainable home goods, natural health and beauty products, herbal supplements, health related books, unique gifts, and more!

We have experienced some significant delays on our original location, but we’ve been blessed to have the ability to find an awesome spot in our downtown provided by our brother, Philip Hall, owner of Hall’s Sports and Outdoors and Hall Family Pharmacy.  We are overwhelmed with gratitude for this opportunity and for those who have helped us get this dream off the ground.

We are so happy to invite you to Native Provisions!  We are located at 209 South Main Street, Suite B in Downtown Jamestown next door to Hall’s Sports and Outdoors.  You can find us in the shop Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM - 3 PM.  Stop by!  Enjoy something new and healthy!  If you think a healthier lifestyle is not for you, we disagree.  Wellness truly is for everyone; and wellness starts with food.
